Today's Rory's third birthday. We've had a terrific snowstorm (YAY!), she received a few fun gifts, and we had our small group over. (Which was happening anyways, being Friday and all. But still. Rory thought they came over just for her birthday. And we totally let her think that...) Oh. And we're
such awesome parents that we didn't bake a cake. Nope. Not that we forgot or anything. *whistles* (I seriously need to get better at this birthday cake thing!) We're
such awesome parents that we took her to Wal-Mart and let her pick out
almost any cake she wanted. (She, um, wanted a $20 one. We managed to talk her into some $4 cupcakes. Yup. The cheapness...it runs deep in us.)
All in all, it's been a good day!
